How are former Lehman Brothers bankers faring?

I was wondering how the former employees in the IBD department of Lehman Brothers are faring. The last I saw of them, was when they were packing their stuff in boxes and leaving the office.

As far as I know some now work at Barclays. Where else? Are some really unemployed? Did they join boutiques or where they evenly distributed to other BB's?

Are Ex-Lehman bankers on this board?

Talking with many alum many seem to have done incredibly well for themselves. Lehman was huge at my school, and most guys who didn't go buyside after analyst wound up at BarCap. Some are stuck and want to roll over, but most just laugh at how their first and second year all-in was more than they make now as Associates.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Some of them decided to stay behind in order to liquidate Lehman's assets. I think they did so well, they formed their own company. They are now an Asset Management firm called Lamco. They have a pretty small (but really nice) office at TWC. The guy that I met was humorous enough to joke about the demise of this former company. Cool guys.

It's crazy how much many of lehman's assets are worth today. If the government hadn't let them fail, they'd be thriving today ( at least threy'd be doing better than baml or city)
