How are the Canadian banks (top 5) in the NYC in their capital markets division (DCM/Syndication)?

Hey guys I have the opportunity to intern for one the top 5 Canadian banks in their Capital Markets Group. Does anyone have an idea of the deal flow their and input on what possible exit opportunities if I don't like it? I also have interviews coming up for boutique investment banks firm outside of NY and was wondering if it's worth taking the risk to interview for them. Ideally I would like to end up in IBD or another Capital Markets Group (possibly ECM). Thanks guys!
