How are the hours as an Analyst at a London boutique bank?
Are the hours better or worse at London boutique banks than at bulge brackets? And what about the culture, vacation days, etc.? Any info or examples would be much appreciated

How long is a piece of string? Totally depends on the boutique. PJT has much worse hours than CVP, some lesser name places could be a snooze or sweatshop too. Best to ask people on LinkedIn about specific firms you're interested in.
What do you define as "worse hours" - how long are we talking? Are you expected to work on the weekend?
From the people I know there, hours during crunch time on live deals can be 100h weeks, during slower periods ~70 so that averages out to 85 or so. But this also depends on the specific person and how quickly you pick things up as well as how responsive your team is.
Some (most?) boutiques don‘t have the back office capacity of BBs with research services or the lovely Indian/Eastern European PPT team that does formatting for you over night. This can lead to worse hours.

Why, what have you heard? Do you know anything about Centerview/PJT/PWP/Evercore?
