How can I increase my chances at this stage?

I recently interviewed with one of the middle market banks and they called me back a couple weeks after the interview saying they're still considering whether to hire 2 or just 1 analyst. What I understand is that my competition is down to 1 or 2 people now and they might have a bit upper hand against me which might be why the bank did not give me the offer outright.

I'm wondering if there is anything I could do to increase my chances at this stage or I should just sit and wait until they figure out how many new hires they want. Please advise. Thanks!
