I'm a first-year analyst at a BB (Not CS / UBS) in the U.S. that just hit the desk a month ago. My BB has a 90-day "probation period" for analysts but overall the analyst program is 2 years.
How common is it for analysts at BBs to be let go during or immediately after this 90-day probation period?

No one gets let go. That's not a thing lol unless you're a looney
Probationary periods are standard in work contracts (in and out of IB). Rarely are they used to fire people.
