I will be starting full time at BAML in Risk Management in a few months and I am hoping to switch to a front office role within a few years. For those of you that work in BAML or heard about internal transitions, how difficult is it to do so?

Hey do you mind me asking what the first year comp is for risk management, and if they got the same raise as bankers to 85k base.
The 85k increase only applies to the bankers at BAML from what I understand, so risk management didn't get that raise. For risk management you are looking at a 65k base with 10-20% bonus.
Extremely difficult.
I used to work at BAML and its extremely difficult. You might as well think of the IBank as a completely different company from the other segments.
