How do you even prep for recruiting when there's no time
On two "live" deals, a pitch needing to wrap up by AM, lots of other crap and its almost 3am. How do you guys recruit for lateral / PE when there's not even time to do that? Really only Saturdays count as a study day. The analysts that end up leaving for lateral IB or PE were most not top performers but found time to do well in interviews. I'm a top performer but now realize this comes at the cost of my prep time. Should I just stop giving af and coast to better prep? What's your secret?
