How do you know if you made the right decision for an IB SA offer when firms give you such a short amount of time to decide?
Personally, I am not sure if I would fit in better in BB of EB. My goal is to do A2A and someday make VP and MD (if I don't die first in the sweatshop).
Did I make the right decision accepting an EB and not waiting for BB this fall?
Humble brag at its finest
did not mean to. just wanted to provide context on why I am unsure.
Short answer is you don’t. But an EB offer over potential BB offers is the right play.
.
I would take an offer from CS or BAML over a shot at GS and MS (assuming GS/MS process was only at phone screens) as long as the group was of interest. Some others might disagree, but recruiting in general is a crapshoot.
Even if you feel like you are settling, an EB is a great position to be in compared with those who don't end up with offers. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
