How do you pass Hirevues?

I'm applying to many banks in the UK for the summer analyst program, and it seems that most of the Bulge Brackets have a Hirevue at some point of the process. Was wondering, what is you approach to these? Yes, people say "treat it like a real interview", but let's be fair, is not. You have a restricted amount of time and is way more awkward to talk to a tiny camera than a person.

Do people memorize their answers after writing them in a document? Is it better? Or just have 'bullet point' ideas and improvise on the spot?

Would be of great help as I have been selected to do Hirevues for various BBs and do not know how to approach this.

I wrote my responses out in a notebook for questions I was expecting to get. I would rehearse my responses but not so it seemed like I was just repeating something that was memorized. You should have an idea of how you want to answer the questions but you dont want to sound robotic, try to make it seem like a natural conversation.
