How Do You Respond To Praise About Your Work?

I hate any kind of attention and I don't know how to respond. Curious to know what would be a good answer when someone says: you are so on top of your work or you are getting good at this or this looks great - thanks for all the work?

Sometimes I feel saying thank you is not enough? How do I get over this awkwardness?

I thought exactly like you. I've always ignored positive feedback and asked for feedback on things I did badly. But research actually points in the opposite direction. The path to exceptional performance is relatively short if you double down on the things you do well (insert reference to a sports person). But it's very difficult to become exceptional at something you're bad at. Most likely you'll waist your time attaining mediocre performance. Here's a great article https://hbr.org/2019/03/the-feedback-fallacy
