I surf or workout in the mornings. After work I cook dinner and hang out/catch up with my fiancé, we work on a little side business we have going together (mostly fun), and right before bed I get in a little reading. There isn’t a ton of time (I’m usually in bed by 9:30 to wake up early to exercise) and it goes fast, but the extra time keeps me sane.

I couldn’t cut it in banking because I met my fiancé, at the time girlfriend, right before banking and my priorities/the way I valued my free time shifted significantly. I’m happy with my decision but I miss the deals a little bit and the pay a lot. Banking was not for me, but props to you for having the discipline to do it and stick it out.

Whoa, that’s really interesting because my schedule is nearly identical.

My wife and I wake up early to work out (I like swimming), we work and then afterwards we can hang out, we both code up a business we’re starting, and occasionally go out somewhere.

Just interesting because I haven’t seen anyone do the same thing with their SO

Workout in the mornings (6-8 AM)

hang out with my kid (8-9 AM and throughout the day when I’m wfh)

may go out for lunch if friends or coworkers are around

Then outside of that on weekdays usually a dinner or drinks out, sometimes go to a show (Broadway or similar) or maybe a museum

Travel is also big (sometimes will work remotely).
