How extensive are background checks for EC's? Am I fucked or just bugging out/paranoia

Current senior who just signed IB FT. One of my EC's was I was a newsletter writer for my investment banking club. The club was run completely by students, no faculty. I was 1 of 4 newsletter writers, and tbh it was a complete joke. I completely pretty much had to do everything my self as the other writers would often not contribute anything at all. I would schedule when we would meet (if they would even show), plan what we would write about, and pretty much did all the writing. Therfore, I though it would be fair in my resume to put my position as "Head Newsletter Writer" because I felt like I needed a leadership position of some sort.

This is a completely student run club and I am not even in it anymore. So who would the 3rd party background checker reach out to? Students involved in the club now? I am not in the club anymore and the current president was not in the club/president when I was a newsletter writer. So this person does not know me at all.

Appreciate the response man. I guess my main issue is who they would verify my position for since there was no faculty? The 3 other newsletter writers I was with and the president of the time I was a newsletter writer all graduated. Can I list them if the 3rd party asks?
