How important is common sense?

How important is common sense in Banking? It seems like 40% of questions on this site are just a waste of cyber space.

I have seen some very legit questions and great answers. When it comes to asking idiotic questions...e.g. how do I shake someones hand? or How do I type an e-mail? should I drink with the guys with my fake ID? Should I make eye contact when talking to someone?

Do these monkeys actually land offers? do banks just throw them in the trash and keep the people with common sense?

How important is it?!?!

I'll tell you one thing. Depending on how sick in the head your MD has become after 30 years in the industry, if you try to interpret what he wants based on what should be common sense and logic...then having too much common sense can actually work AGAINST you.
