I applied to an AM position last week. On my university's career website it said to just email the contact with your resume and cover letter, so that is what I did. However, I have yet to hear back from him.
I was expecting an email relatively quick telling me that they had received my application.
Is it normal for an applicant to hear no response when sending their resume directly via email?
