How long it will take
I just finished the two rounds of first round interview with UBS.
So typically,how long it will take to hear back after the phone interview?
if you failed, will they send you email to you?
after the first rounds it can taky anywhere from 6 hours to 2 weeks + to hear back. if they want you for sure, they can call you the same day. this happened to a few friends of mine last go around. if you're viewed as a potentiall fill-in (i.e. not their first choice, but some people might accept another offer and thus decide to drop out of the process), they might contact you just a few days before the final round. usually it's about a week, but it varies from case to case. just keep in close touch with other people at your school who interviewed; that's usually the best gauge of the timing. the odds of your school not getting a single person invited back are slim. and no, they don't always let you know if you didn't make it. some do, most do not.
