How long to hear back after first round interview?

Wanted to get some feedback on this. I interviewed with a few senior members of multiple MM firms within this past week for FT IB analyst jobs. How long does it normally take to hear back? A few days, a week, 2 weeks. Do they even get back to you if you didn't make it? Probably depends on the firms, but would like a consensus if possible. Also, If you feel it was a good interview, is it a good sign if they say "We'll be in touch in the next couple days."
