How many days do y'all take off for vacation?

I was wondering what you all take off here for vacation. I've read some threads in the past that said they took zero days off during the 2 year analyst stint, however it seems like some companies have taken a more WLB approach to IB over the last few years. How many days do you guys take off? How many are you allowed?

Think I end up at like 10-15 business days by year end. I am a huge proponent of taking Fridays off to get a three-day weekend and so I'll scatter a bunch across my calendar throughout the year and then take like two "actual" vacations where I am having contiguous work days off and traveling somewhere remote. I'll admit though, I still have a hard time plugging out and will inevitably have my phone on me during those real vacations with email notifications still live because I get really nervous about missing stuff. And the truth is I never actually end up missing anything that material so I've just got to get it out of my head that I could potentially be missing out on work.

My bank does 2 protected weeks a year and then also gives us semi-protected federal holidays. So like you are not supposed to be assigned more work/don’t have to work unless it’s live/urgent.

I like it. The clients I work with also didn’t work over the winter holidays, so I essentially got another 1.5 weeks off of doing almost nothing.
