How materialistic is the investment banking world?
Obviously everyone loves making a ton of money but is there peer pressure among investment bankers to buy/wear the right watches, suits, whatever? Or, since everyone knows roughly how much everyone else is earning, is there less of that and nobody gives a shit how you spend yours?
Investment bankers as a whole, are not concerned with accumulating material possessions, and tend to value people and relationships over money.
No one gives a shit what kind of watch you're wearing or anything else for that matter. Just don't dress like a dumbass, be smart, hardworking and don't be weird.
