How often do you go on vacation?

Yeah making money is great. Great to be frugal too. Not go spend it all on Aime Leon dore and overpriced restaraunts that you actually don’t care fair. Understood. BUT VACATIONS ARE IMPORTANT. They’re something to work for. Not just as a break from your shitty life, but do you can experience the world and do it well.

So how often do you actually get to have vacation time and make it out of the states?

I take 1 week at Christmas and 1-2 weeks in the summer. Might also take a week off to go skiing in Jan or Feb. When parents visit me or I visit them, I might take the odd Friday or Monday off to have a longer weekend which happens 4-5 times a year. I'd say quite frequently because, as you said, holidays are important and you need a good mental break every once in a while.
