How often is there only one junior banker on a deal? Is this worth bringing up in an interview?
I work at a boutique bank focusing on the lower middle market. My bank only has 3 analysts and 0 associates. Most of our deals have at least 2 analysts - occasionally we’ll have only 1.
I’m wondering what deal team structures are like at larger banks. When I eventually leave and interview at other shops, I am also curious to see how attractive it is to tell interviewers that I was the sole analyst on multiple deals. (Or even list on my resume).
