how outdated is interviewing information from the previous year?
I just talked to my buddy who interviewed with a MM ECM technical group last year and he told me the general gist of the interview questions. He told me that they asked him very basic questions and did NOT ask him to calculate anything on the spot. I am very shocked at what he told me bc of the technicality of this group. Do banks change their interviewing style that much over the period of just one year? How trustworthy would it be to get some interviewing tips from someone who interviewed for the same position the year before/
No they do not change much over one year, unless they've reformed their process. Learn everything though, it can only aid you!
its definitely helpful and all - at least to get the general fundamentals.
you need to go in with the mindset that anything could happen because sometimes it depends on your interviewer - if you go via the WSO guide and search function i think you should be fine
