How plausible is it to get into IB from Edinburgh?

16 year old offered places at worse universities than edinburgh here. Wondering whether to take the extra year in high school and move into Edinburgh for the higher opportunity. Should I take the advantage of having a year on everyone but move into a worse uni? And if not is there a better university in Scotland which could give me a chance at the job. I am open to looking at physical trading / pe / er / im / fm. Just whatever would give a better chance at one of these positions. Would love a bit of advice on what the best path I could take would be. I am predicted for 3A's and 2B'a this year in my highers and I am pushing to network for advice as much as I can.

Cheers.

I am hoping that I can make use of free university in Scotland so probably Edinburgh or St Andrews are my only options. I would be able to do an MBA in London after my undergrad but not sure whether the price is worth it.

Then go to either of those and immediately make use of your time to network and get a spring week since it’s essentially the pathway to full-time IB. Would also prep on BIWS guides / any industry you have a passion for.
