How realistic are my chances of getting into IB?

Hi all,

I am interested in an IB career and was wondering what my chances of making it when I have zero experience.

I've graduated from high school with decent grades and attended university on/off, but mostly worked in retail full-time.

I would like to start studying again, so my plan was to start working towards my Bachelor's degree in Commerce or in some other technical field.

Would I have a good chance in getting into IB provided I have a high GPA and getting some internships during my studies?

Your help will be much appreciated.

P.S. I live in Australia.
