How to ask this MD for contacts of his subordinates

A whole bunch of us visited this BB event hosted by the alumni's. The odd thing was that there were more MDs (7) than associates (3). The head of LevFin was there, and I got his contact information. I want to get connected with the LevFin associates in this BB for informational interviews, and I'm not too sure how to approach this MD for the contacts of his subordinates. Does anyone have a similar experience? What do you think I should do?

Honestly just send an email saying thanks for taking the time out to attend the event and speaking with me this past week. It was a pleasure talking about X and Y experiences you've had. I am definitely very interested in your group. I was wondering if you could refer me to some of your co-workers who were not at the event, perhaps at the more junior level so that I can speak with them about their background and experiences.

Something like that

Et inventore illum mollitia nam deserunt aut. Deserunt dolores quod vitae incidunt provident quis voluptates. Aut voluptatum repudiandae ut vero. Excepturi libero optio ab libero.

Cumque impedit hic quis.

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.
