Also also, google voice will transcribe your messages, so you don't have to make an international calls to check your voicemail. It works well enough that you can get an idea of what is an interview opportunity and thus priority for an immediate callback.
Google voice appears to have free call forwarding rather than having to pay for Skype. So I guess that is a better alternative.
You can see the missed calls and call them back, saying that you were busy so you weren't able to take the call.
and while you are online, you can even take live incoming calls.

Google voice only works while in the United States. So that option doesn't work for me either.
