Going to the gym, seeing family, going to and going to special events are becoming very difficult to do. Do any of you have advice for me as to how I should be managing my time, or is it unrealistic to have some free time during the first few years of your career?

In reality the hours don’t get much better. I would recommend trying to get top buck your first year then start caring way less your second year. Let your past reputation carry you. That’s what I did and life is a bit better now

I’ve actually had to stop jacking off to turn comments. Very frustrating.
Make it to Associate 2 or 3 and then try to get poached by a CIB bank or a CB bank. You don’t lose that much comp at the VP+ level and the hours are so much better.
Aren't the bonuses much lower in CB compared to IB?
