How to deal with work anxiety and does it get better?

How do you guys stay calm and not have anxiety? Or are you all mostly calm? Every time a new email or teams message pings I get crippling anxiety and sometimes even panick attacks and feel like I can’t take a full breath. Still an analyst. as time goes on as an associate responding to VPs or VPs responding to MDs the anxiety doesn’t seem to get better it seems to only increase as now there are more stakes the more senior you get ? How do not be so anxious ?

Realise that you are all just people (yes even the VPs and MDs are people) and you're all just trying to do your best and none of this is really that important. We aren't saving lives here.

Anxiety is a self perpetuating, irrational fear. It spirals and the only way to break the spiral is to... Break the spiral. You have to force yourself to think differently and change your mindset. So even if what I just said above is obvious, you have to force yourself to think it until you internalise it.
