How to Exit a Sweatshop

Tricky situation. My current team is extremely lean with a heavy deal flow, so taking time out for interviews during the day is hard because everything is live. Even a dentist appointment would be noticed by the VPs and MDs (it’s so lean I’m basically working directly with MDs in some cases) - Was wondering what is the best exit strategy for people in similar situations? Do interviewers ever accept calls on weekends or like midnight? Or is it better to take medical leave? Or should I just resign? This is in London, so off-cycle recruiting

You exit a sweatshop by going to another one. It’s the reality of the marketplace these days.
