How to handle interviews during current internship

Hi WSO,

So I am in a little bit of a tricky situation and would like some opinions on how to best approach this. I am starting an internship at an MM bank in London in October. They have been very vague about the possibility to actually convert this to a FT offer and they are not sure what their headcount will be for next year.

In the mean time I have been asked to interview for roles at a few BB's, but these will all be happening in the next 3 weeks. My team is very small (15 people) so I can't disappear for 3 hours without someone noticing.

Now, as you understand I would like to interview at these other banks to see where this goes and hedge my bets, but I don't want to ask for time-off on the first week to interview for other places. I am afraid this comes off as unprofessional and they think I might be snooping around to get a better offer and will not be committed to their firm (even though they do not seem to know if there will even be a FT spot in their team).

Now, how do I manage to interview, all while not pissing off my team and keeping my reputation a float?
