how to include contacts in CV

Hey guys, just wondering what is the best way to include the contact/s you have at the bank you are applying to in the Cover Letter. I am pretty sure the first paragraph would be best but how do I do it without it being an obvious name drop, even though that is the reason why I would include it.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

I would list the contacts that naturally lend themselves to being mentioned in the cover letter. In other words, if you found out about the position from the analyst and found out some interesting and appealing qualities about the firm from the associate, then definitely list them both. If you spoke about the firm with both, then use both names when describing "why bank X" in the letter. If, however, you didn't have any conversations with one and only spoke with one of them once in an email (barely a contact), then I would consider leaving that person out to avoid that person saying, "who?"

To your first question, I would agree with the above and include the names when describing how you found out about the position and why that particular bank.
