How to keep in touch with people you networked with at other banks

Just accepted a 2023 SA. I'm wondering how I can/should keep in touch with people I have networked with. I plan to rerecruit and lateral for FT so how often should I keep in touch with people at other banks? Should I let them know I will be at a different firm but want to keep in touch? Or should I wait until this summer?

Bump - also how to approach networking for FT over the summer?

Second this, even if you didn't get an offer at their bank I feel like most people know this shit is a crapshoot and frankly don't care enough about you to hold it against you. If y'all really vibed, I think this is easier to do but if not still send an email or see if you can get on a call and just stay in touch for a minute before hitting them up like 3-4 weeks on the internship with the standard excuse of "love the team but hoping to get more execution exp", "just not vibing with the culture", etc etc.

Just an intern though so I'm wrong someone please correct me

Bump - with 2025 SA recruiting happening now, I would love to hear others' thoughts on letting your contacts, that you've made during SA recruiting, know you've accepted an offer elsewhere while still hinting that you're interested in FT recruiting.
