I was going to suggest a drug test. A friend of mine did that lol.

Another option would be to mention to them that you need Visa sponsorship - that's ofcourse assuming you are not a citizen of the country the bank is located at. From my experience, MM banks usually don't sponsor for H1B Visa.

Has anyone actually experienced getting restricted from OCR for reneging an internship offer? My school supposedly kicks you, but I reneged an offer and nothing happened. The bigger concern here is if the people at the MM talk with people at the BB and you get caught in the crossfire.

If I were you, I'd keep the MM offer and try for accelerated BB recruiting for FT if you want to go that route.

My roommate did. She reneged her (OCR) Corp Fin offer for an offer from an "elite" management consulting firm. Our school banned her from OCR and took away lifetime privileges from accessing the school's alumni database. She didn't get her consulting offer rescinded because she got that offer on her own (through networking).

Sounds like you should not reneg. Drug test is risky because you might still have the drug in your system come time for the BB drug test. I like the idea of refusing the drug test.
