How to make myself appealing when cold calling boutique banks for internships
I am beginning my search for a sophomore summer internship, and I have been emailing countless boutique banks with a short note introducing myself, as well as my resume attached. No one has responded out of about ~40 different banks. Is there a different more effective way to be doing this or are they just not looking for interns.
Isn't it a bit early to cold-email boutiques for internships a year from now? Most small boutiques with no structured recruiting don't even realize their hiring needs until later in the fall/spring.
