How to optimize for comp without sweating forever?

Ok here’s the situation - I really do find finance interesting, but I am fully cognizant that I’m not super passionate about it & that some of my peers are better suited to do the whole PE thing and thrive.

I am okay with grinding for a bit after graduation and sacrificing a few years of fun, but after that point I really want to start focusing on other avenues of life without needing to worry about money. So I guess my question is, how can I still make good money within (or outside too, I guess) finance while not working workaholic hours?
