How to prepare for lateral with 0 deals/experience?
Pretty self-explanatory working at a small boutique, hoping and trying to lateral, but I have been here for 6 months, but we have done 0 deals, barely any work exposure, mostly pitch work and market analysis and research memos.
I don't know what to do or how to prepare? I haven't had much luck with HHs reaching out either, so I have been cold emailing people and trying to move up, but at this point I am worried that if I even get an interview, I will get hammered on deal experience or lack of
