how to reply back to MD

I cold emailed this MD at a BB last night, and he replied back to me within two hours. I basically said just want to get to know more about his career and experiences at the bank....

this is what he sent me back

"I'm actually in XXX on business right now - back Sunday.

We can try and touch base maybe Thursday? I'm then away for 3 weeks for the holiday. "

How should I reply back to this. I mean how should I word it so i would be asking him to meet me for a little bit if he has time thursday..i dont want to straight up mention a phone conversation and then wait 3 weeks to meet him because SA applications are gonna be done by the time he gets back..basically gonna try to have him pass on my resume without being obvious about it

He knows what you want...its not like he thinks you are so fascinated by him as a person that you just want to sit and chat.

Saw something like, "While I know your schedule is busy, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about XXX" Obviously flesh it out a bit more but you get the idea

Dear XXX,

Thanks so much for the quick response and agreeing to give me some of your time and speak about__________. I am available anytime on Thursday, so let me know what time works best for you.

I look forward to speaking with you and please let me know if there is anything you would like from me before we talk.

Thanks again.

----Gives him the hint you want him to ask for your resume. If the conversation goes well, he will ask for it anyways.

Wtf? Really!?!?! Say THAT?

It sounds like a sexual proposition.

(I'm talking about the "anthing else you would like from me" of course).

That looks fine to me.

I wouldn't add in the last bit though, I'd expect he should know that you'd like him to ask you for your resume. I'd just bring it and get him interested enough to ask for it. Both seem like they'd work.

He probably knows that applications will be done by the time he is back from "vacation". What I think he is saying is that he will give you a few minutes to absolutely amaze him, but if you don't - he doesn't want to have to deal with the awkwardness of you bothering him to "check up"
