How to see if an analyst worked on an M&A deal

Out of curiosity I have a scheduled call with an IB associate and I was wondering if there was any way to determine if they worked on a transaction so I can prepare questions relating to the deal? Thanks in advance!

Definitely no way to find out publicly - most banks don't even release the name of the seniors on each deal.

However, if there's a marquee deal their group did while they were there you can still ask about it. Even if they didn't work on the deal they likely know enough about it to chat from a high level, not like they can go into a ton of detail anyway bc of disclosure issues. If you have 1 or 2 deals to talk about that's plenty on your end.
