How useful are SA's to their teams?
Do SA's make Analysts lives easier or are they mostly just a pain you have to drag along for 9 weeks?

They help a little, but they take so long because it is their first time and they ask so many questions. Overall, I'd say about the same
Depends on the office and the situation. If you're in a situaiton where you are short-staffed the SA will be a huge help.
It also depends on if the SA likes it or not/is capable of doing it.
