How would this sexual relationship be perceived in a Charlotte office environment?

Made an impromptu decision tonight to go over to a woman’s place. I met her in the office recently. Her two kids are with the grandparents in India for the summer, and she’s been divorced for years. Since she had the house all to herself, and we’ve been flirting ever since we met, she invited me over. To say that I am attracted to her is a severe understatement. I feel a deep passion for her that I have never felt for anyone else in my life. We finally “pulled the trigger” tonight. However, our relationship may present a conflict. Although she does not directly supervise me, she does hold a lot of influence at the investment bank we both work at. If I were to disclose this relationship, how would this be received in a Charlotte office environment given that I am 26 years old, and she is over 50 years old? Would this be frowned upon? If we were located in a larger city, I would be less concerned about people’s perception because coming from New York, this type of relationship is quite common. However, so far, I have not seen any examples of this in Charlotte and I have come to realize that the culture is more traditional, with way more young families than what I am used to seeing.

Damn - never would have guessed that Booneboone from WSO would have the definitive answer to the question that has vexed mankind since the dawn of time.  Thanks, dawg - load off my mind not to worry about my eternal soul anymore.

I come from down in the valley, where mister when you're young, they bring you up to do like your daddy done

This man comes here to post the most distraught takes and asks for advice just to disagree with them

Dude you are giving away too much information.

- Lady of over 50 years old

- Divorced with 2 kids

- Indian or at least of Indian descent

- High executive at an investment bank in Charlotte (90% probability is at Wells Fargo)

Probably someone who works at WF in Charlotte can only come up with 1 or maximum 2 people who match this criteria, and you are exposing her online by saying that she is having an affair with a 26 years old subordinate. Don't be surprised if a lot of people in the office start talking about this in 1 or 2 weeks.

Lol at the people who take things at face value on a website like this. I could make up any detail or even try to pretend that I am my  worst enemy - and you, along with a bunch of other people on this site, will still believe me. Also, lol at you wasting your time to look through my other messages

This gal making shit up trying to mask her identity because I know who she is. LOL. This is what happens when firms try to hire diversity and takes at least 1 year to fire these people. SMH.
