How'd we do on the 79 today girls and boys??
Taking it online in a little bit and wanted to gauge how everyone felt for future classes that take it.

Way easier than Knopman.
Wasn’t my experience, but the questions I knew from knopman I knew/ were easy. It was the breadth of questions the 79 asks that were tricky that were not directly covered by Knopman that gave me a run for my money
how do they prevent cheating? seems like it would be extremely easy to cheat
Need to take it in an empty room and do a 360 view. Proctor is always watching.
They have so many stupid checks, I could still easily cheat in my room if I wanted. I mean you can literally “go to the bathroom” for 10 minutes and just walk to your laptop outside (remote or at a testing center).
It went great! When are you guys planning on taking the 63?
For those who took the 79, how long did you study for? And what were like things to really focus on that you noticed were on the test a lot?

For 79 I spent a good 4 days of real studying and if you just do the 750 Knopman practice questions you will 100% pass. I’m sorry I can’t give more detail but I forgot everything the next day, it was that easy and crammable. More “recognition” than recall.
I thought the 63 was a little trickier and far more “recall” than “recognition”. On that one make sure you know the exempt Securities, exempt transactions, the rules for registration for Broker dealers/agents/IA/IARs, as well as all the common ethical practices, and also know the jurisdiction of the Administrator really well because there were 4-5 questions on that for me. Do the 500 Knopman questions and memorize the flow charts and you’re good to go. Godspeed brethren.
Would you say in general its pretty easy to spot the right answer through recognition? I definitely felt like this was the case for the SIE as well where the S63 I had to actually think and understand what was being asked
Yup it’s just like the SIE in that regard. You can kind of just look and spot the right answer. Agreed that the S63 was NOT the same haha.
