HSBC Leveraged Acquisition Finance First Round SA Interview

I have a summer analyst interview coming up with HSBC Leveraged Acqusition Finance. Has anyone interviewed with them for this department before? Any suggestions as to what I should be expected to know? (Basic LBO, leveraged loans, etc?).

Cheers

NY, London, or HK?

either way, most of it is just getting to know the interviewers, with some minimal basic technicals. more importantly. be able to talk about recent developments in the market (definitely read the WSJ the whole week before). also, know how to analyze a company/industry cold (they give you an airline for example, and you have to talk about any issues the industry/company faces, factors you have to consider when looking to accomplish a specific task, etc.). most importantly, do your homework on hsbc (did they have a recent change in management? market cap? recently issue stock or anything like that?)

good luck!
