Does anyone have any idea what HSBC pays in the UK in IBD and Corporate Banking. I have a really good shot at working there and have not seen any recent threads.
Please provide as much info if possible

About fifty quid
is 50k quid for IBD or CB?
slightly under £50k for CB, and the other commentor is correct with £60k base for IB, HSBC is known to underpay
IBD is £60k for A1 with 5k bumps per analyst year then £105k for Ass1
What is the starting salary for CB?
Not sure exactly but I think only £5k less

Honestly corporate banking is shit. Braindead work and most of the personnel there are mentally subnormal. Worked alongside them sometimes.
I was in M&A or "Advisory" as its known there.
As others said, in IBD (or AIBC as its known for non ECM / LAF etc) for analyst its 60-65-70 base. Then AS is 105-120-135 base.
