Back in 2008 / 2009, Harris Williams paid its analysts full bonuses (down slightly from 2007) despite the market going to absolute hell. Analysts across Wall Street were just happy to keep their jobs (and if lucky, land a spot in PE) … while HW&Co. laid off I believe 1 analyst across all its offices. They took the philosophy that analysts don’t really get the upside that senior professionals get and therefore should be resistant to the downside as well. It doesn’t surprise me one bit that the firm is paying huge bonuses to ensure their junior talent is treated properly. Maybe it is the ‘Southern’ values embedded in the firm… who knows - but it is a fantastic place to work despite not getting as much love / attention as a lot of other banks on this forum.

Interested. Heard they were fat last year
Heard last year range was 60-80k for first year analysts. Can anyone confirm?
Anyone have associate numbers?
Stub bonus this year was 115. Know for sure aso3 was north of 300 bonus, but not sure how much north
That stub bonus is insane. That's got to the highest on the street this year, or close to it.
Can confirm.
