I am a Masters Graduate applying for an IB Analyst position
I am a Master's Graduate applying for an IB Analyst position. Will the Banks require me to submit my Bachelors transcripts in addition to my Master's transcript. The reason why I am asking this is, because my grades during Bachelors weren't that impressive, however I am now enrolled in a Masters program at an Ivy league school.
Has any one been through this experience as applying as a Masters graduate student?
Thanks!
They'll ask you both for your Masters and Bachelors transcripts. Being a Masters student will help differentiate you from the other undergraduates applying for the same position, but it won't help you that much (unless you're doing a Masters of Finance) because it'll be up to you to convince them that you want to go into banking/finance. I don't think I would have gotten my position this year in these markets without the MA program I am in.
I've heard they usually ask for your most recent transcript and just ask you in person what your undergraduate GPA was. If your gpa was sub-marginal then, you better have A's all over your graduate transcript...
"In the end, there can be only one..."
Interesting insights, thanks.
