I Dont Like to Fly Commercial

With that being said, how often do you fly commercial as an analyst?

I say "commercial" only because I have experience flying my own planes and am totally fine with smaller planes. It's being strapped to a hunk of steel with 120+ other people at 35,000 ft. that isnt really my thing.

Does your job as an analyst require travel, or does that become more important when you move up and start sourcing deals?

professionalmonkeyHow about this...get the fuck over it and do your job.
If your dreams don't scare you, then they are not big enough. "There are two types of people in this world: People who say they pee in the shower, and dirty fucking liars."-Louis C.K.

75% of the flights I've taken this year have been in a hang glider. The other 25% allowed me to drink three 187 mL bottles of Yellowtail shiraz at 35,000 feet (pressured of course).

Three or four hour flights are a fact of life in the business world. Bring some magazines, bring some music, get gogo inflight, buy some booze, and enjoy the fact that you don't have to worry about the launch, weather, crosswind gusts, and the landing.

You had me up until shiraz. Really?
