I have an interview and have questions...

I have an interview at Cowen and company working as an equity research intern. It specializes in medical technology etc. Here is my question I do not come from a top tier school. I am a biology major minoring in business.

What is a good reason to give them of why I chose Biology in the first place? Like is there something that they are looking for? I feel like this messes me up at interviews.

The real reason is that I was planning on going to medical school and after working at a hospital I realized it isn't worth the money and my heart is not in it, but not sure if this makes them think I was doing medical for the money and now why I want to get into IB. Is there a good reason to tell them why I chose biology in the first place?

Thanks guys

Just talk about your intrinsic interest in biology, and as a hard science, you liked the challenge of studying it. I would imagine this would be a big plus for you, especially for a position that covers medical companies.

Working in equity research within the medical tech industry fuses your interests in business and bio/medicine etc etc.
