I just had the most hilarious dream about investment banking
I dreamed I had networked with a director at Goldman Sachs. I was scheduled to have a call with him tonight dream time. But sadly on the day of the call his son died on a plane crash. Incidentally, my sister survived the very same crash because she was sent on a special baby plane capsule, yes somehow was a baby in the crash even though she’s an adult.
The guy actually calls me that night as planned, remember on the day his son died. I was consoling him all the time but was internally debating whether it’s immoral to talk about work and end with a request for a recommendation. Ultimately, I did, and he said he’d give me his late son’s position. I just woke up.
