IB Analyst Test - Should this noob be scared?
A smaller IB has recently emailed me regarding an entry level analyst I submitted for a few days ago. They said that they would like to proceed with the interview process by having me take an Analyst test.
What should I expect for a test like this? Is there any way to prepare?
I have no prior IB experience (went into PWM after finishing my degree and spent most of my time doing Investment research and analysis), but do have some corporate valuation and consulting/strategy experience from other positions.
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Smaller IBs do not have analyst training programs so I would guess the test is about your knowledge of accounting/modeling.
