They actually raised associate pay this year before the analysts got their raises. It all started with MS bumping associates (not analysts) which was then followed by GS bumping associates and analysts and then everyone else - including MS -- bumped analyst and associate pay.

At the BBs, new associate scale is A0: $125 A1: $150 A2: $175 A3: $200

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."

Those don't look right at all. Can you be more specific about your source?

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

My offer letter / HR telling me what the new scale is.

"They are all former investment bankers that were laid off in the economic collapse that Nancy Pelosi caused. They have no marketable skills, but by God they work hard."

So if I'm A2 right now making 140, are you telling me I'm going to 200 next year? You're going into VP base territory.

I like the higher fixed structure, all in pay will be the same but higher mix of base salary provides that nice visibility.

I don't know where you work, but that is the scale for one of GS/MS/JPM.

Well I'm in ER so I don't think it matters because I'm not sure we're getting the bump. I was just curious.

No clue. Will find out soon enough...
