IB boutique internship vs FT Big4

Hey everyone!

So, here are the details, I am Masters student at target University in Europe (not UK). I have no banking experience, only two summers in consulting but want to break into banking.

Currently, I have a ft offer for a big four assurance group in EU for after I graduate (August) , but I am close to getting an internship offer at a boutique IB in London with no potential for converting however.

Keeping in mind my ideal goal is banking, what is the most sound path? I am pretty sure it's the internship at London I am just a little bit hesitant because the other offer is a sure job but will probably cut me once and for all from IB. Also, since the internship will not be aimed at a FT offer I will still have to find an offcycle afterwards.. Another note is that in case I take the IB internship I will have to pass two exams studying during that time on my own, however I'm prepared to do w/e necessary if I get more chances to break in.

Cheers!

Thank you for the comment! About the legitimate boutique thing, they are not a big name outside London but I've tracked several deals they closed in a very specialized segment. They also seem to take interns only from the top-tier EU schools. Partners come from BBs
